Writing down your negative thoughts will detoxify your brain and you will be able to clear your mind from bad thoughts that you just can’t keep out of your mind. Having a lot of negative thoughts will make your life very negative. This can influence a lot of things about your life. It can harm your social life and this is something you don’t want. If you lack self-confidence, you need to start this process of getting negative thoughts out of your life. Become a positive person.

Know yourself better

When you have decided that you want to improve self-confidence, that is the moment that you really need to work on yourself more. Make some more time for yourself. The problem with people that lack self-confidence, is that they are not making enough time to reflect on themselves. The reason for that is also pretty simple, they just don’t feel like they are worth it.

Keep reflecting on yourself and take a moment every day to think about the things you have done and what you could have done better. Again a great tip is to write these things down. One of the things that will make you feel bad about yourself and lose your self-confidence is by comparing your life to the life of somebody else. It can really ruin every minute and every day of your life. The thing that will happen is that you will find your life stupid and you will have the feeling that everybody is so gifted and you are just a loser.

Don’t compare yourself to another person. Everybody has some unique talents and if you keep comparing yourself to somebody else, you will never discover these talents. A great way to boost your self-confidence is by helping others. Remember that you need to keep being positive in life and this will happen if you help people with their problems. It will even give you the feeling that you are really important to other people and this will give your self-confidence a boost. 

Not only will it make you feel better, but you will get compliments from other people and this can really make you emotionally feel better. Positivity really will take over your brain. Keep helping others and really believe in the things you can do. This is also something to talk about, helping others will make you believe in yourself more because you are actually saying: “Hey, I know a lot about this subject and I can help you”. See, you are starting to believe in your own skills more by helping other people.
