1. The secret
So, I said that there is a simple secret in order to give your personal development a boost. First of all, what do I mean by giving your personal development a boost?
You have been doing some personal development lately. You got out of your comfort zone , you are trying new things and you are constantly looking for ways to become a better you. In the meantime, you are thinking: “Hey it is going all way to slow!” It is very normal that you start thinking this way. I have to say that there is no secret in order to have some sort of shortcut in becoming the person that you want to become.
“Well, did you trick us?” Nooooo. I did not trick you. In fact, there is a way to keep on going and keep doing good in order to become the person which you want to become.
Once you start something, in this case, personal development, you will get through some phases. Some will be bad memories and others will be better. There are some people in this world who just never seem to give up. Even when they only have bad days they just seem to keep going and going until they get what they want. How do they do that?
No big secret actually. They are determined to achieve what they want to achieve. That is, in fact, the secret in getting where you want to be. If you are really determined to achieve what you want to achieve, you will get over the most difficult times. It is also funny to see that when you start something and you are really motivated, after some time you will see something happen which will make you doubt whether you can or cannot do it. Life is just testing you whether you are really determined to achieve what you want to achieve or are you just saying that you want to achieve it.
There is no shortcut. It is as simple as that. If you truly want to achieve something, you need to keep going. Let’s read the next secret.
Most of the things that we do are some kind of habits. When we wake up and brush our teeth, it is mostly a habit. This is just a small example, but if you look closely into your life it consists mostly of habits.
When it comes to achieving things and in this case to personal development, you need to make some things a habit. If you want to grow yourself in any field that you are interested in, you need to make some kind of a plan on what you want to learn and make these things a habit.
Sounds easy right? In
To way to make progress is to develop good habits in order to become better at what you want to be better at. Luckily there are some great apps to keep track of your habits. There is one app that I use and I find this app very fun to use. It is called: Habitica. Give it a go!
